Unifund is an Irish seed fund for students. As the official mentoring partner of the Irish Student Entrepreneurship Forum, Unifund hope to enable and empower the next generation of student startups.
Unifund’s accelerator programme runs for 12 weeks June - August in Dublin, where teams are allocated hot desks in a startup ecosystem, allowing them to work alongside mentors to bridge knowledge gaps. Teams will attend weekly dinners with guest speakers and engage in weekly workshops. Unifund will invest between €5,000 and €25,000.

With a national network of nine regional offices throughout Ireland and access to more than 60 countries worldwide, the organisation works in partnership with Irish enterprises to help them start, grow, innovate and win export sales in global markets. In this way, Enterprise Ireland supports sustainable economic growth, regional development and secure employment.
As one of the first supporters of ISEF, and as Ireland’s leading organisation for entrepreneurship, we are delighted to continue this partnership into 2017. Enterprise Ireland is also heavily involved in the country’s student entrepreneurship scene and holds an annual competition for students called the Student Entrepreneur Awards, as well as running a €500,000 Competitive Start Fund for final year students and recent graduates to develop high-potential businesses.

AIB has teamed up with the Irish Times to launch the AIB Start-up Academy which gives start-ups information and access to industry leaders and mentors so they can be inspired to grow their start-up into a successful business.
